On September 21, 2023, in New York City, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Khusrav Noziri. 

The sides went through the details of preparation for the upcoming Tashkent summit of the Organization. They also discussed the joint measures aimed at giving a powerful impetus to the development of practical interaction within the Economic Cooperation Organization.
